The following notes are excerpts from the Annals of the Four Masters (M) and the Annals of Ulster (U) that are helpful in determining the succession of kings and chiefs of Ulster up to 331 A.D., in Ulidia, Ui Eathach Cobha, and Dal Araide. I have often entered reports of the same event from both Annals to bring out additional facts or to show differences in reported dates or spellings.
