The following post is in response to Greg Donahue of Moss Brothers who seems upset at my pointing out that the Moreno Valley Oversight Board had three members upon it who faced regular conflicts of interests by sitting upon that board, and that to make the board less susceptible to such conflicts, maybe the three individuals should be replaced (one of which is his boss, Glenn Moss). It seems Greg feels there is something wrong with preventing conflicts where they can be prevented when it comes to his boss, however Mr. Donahue, the last time I spoke with him, didn’t even live in our city, so again why would care. The Moreno Valley Auto Mall is the recipient of millions of our tax dollars, and for me to ask a candidate his opinion on these conflict issues is somehow wrong or has some form of innuendo attached? Well I would say that Greg Donahue made a threat towards me in his response to my post: “Is there an innuendo here Gordie that I need to tell Glenn about?” Like go ahead, it isn’t like the post accused anyone of doing anything wrong, it is just that having people appointed to an oversight boards overseeing the monies which end up going to them seems a bit odd as it can and has created conflicts. So if Mr. Donahue was now afraid to answer my questions as to “does a conflict arise from these individuals sitting on that board?” Then I will. Yes they do, and they dont need to happen. Thats all my prior post was about, until someone got all ass bent over his poor bosses name being mentioned, and how dare a citizens question such things.
