The freedom to do whatever you want to do, knowing that there is no condemnation, is mistaken for a licence to rape, lie, steal and kill etc, by those who use fear inducing religious ideas that have no foundation in reality to scare people who are vulnerable into a state of mind where they are so frozen in fear they are severely inhibited in their god given ability to reason. The implication is that freedom means doing what you want, and that the first thing we all want to do is kill somebody. If that is what you want to do, by all means, keep your fear, live in your mind prison hell. But please keep it to yourself. Scaring people with things you dont know is not loving. Its sick. On the other hand, knowing you are loved for who you are, and not just tolerated because of Jesus or whatever, brings soundness of mind and the power to love others who dont think like you.
