The funeral services went well. It was very simple and straight to the point. Although I have no more grandparents, I am proud that he lived a full life. The changes that my grandfather has seen during his time, I can only imagine. I am proud of what my grandfather achieved during his lifetime. He was in the military, he went to college and graduated with a degree in Business(which was unheard of back in those days), he worked for Coca Cola for 50 years, he served his church well, he participated in the Civil Rights Movement, I can go on and on and on what he has achieved. I thank God for him allowing him to be here in our lives for that long. He has earned his wings and I know he has a great plan for him. I am celebrating his life. I refuse to mourn for him and he achieved so much in his life. I am hoping I can live as long as he did and be able to make a difference in world. May you rest in peace and I see you again one day!
