The grand opening of The Arts Alliance of the White Mountains Center for the Arts Gallery and Gift Shop will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 22. The center is located at 251 Penrod Road in Show Low. The public is invited to join the members of the Arts Alliance for the official ribbon cutting, refreshments and the awards ceremony for the Arts Alliance Fifth Bi-Annual Juried Art Show. The juried show has become a popular event with artists both locally and statewide in recent years. It is open to all artists living in Arizona. The show includes art created by two-dimensional artists, photographers and three-dimensional artists. First place winners are awarded $100, second place $50 and third place $25. Jurors were Jim Beck and Karl Larson.
