The hardest part is every time there is a step forward, we are feeling optimistic and we start looking forward to his homecoming, we take several steps back. Those back pedals hit the slow motion button and it feels like good news is not on the horizon. The longer he stays in this limbo with his lungs, the faster we drift towards risk of serious damage to his organs and tissues. We pray for him to push through this hiccup. We pray for him to be comfortable and not feel pain. We pray for comfort and patience. We pray for his caregivers to be inspired in his treatment. We pray his supporters will be blessed for their sacrifice, time and resources that have so selflessly been given. We pray our boys dont feel the pain and frustration of their parents unnecessarily and they can still feel our love through the raw emotion. This page, and the encouragement we receive from it, make it itinfinitely easier to know we are not alone.
