Living recipients are A P J ABDUL KALAM1997, AMRATYA SEN1999, LATA MANGASHKAR2001 CNN ROA 2014 SACHIN2014 . both announced CNN ROA is the chairman of the prime ministers scientific advisory council. He has published 1500 scientific research papers.He feels that Indian not working hard as Chinese. China is publishing 16.5%research papers where as India 2-3% only Inadequate funding from Government is also the reason.His latest craze was to work on thin films of carbon called Graphene.
