The house I grew up in is in this picture. 41 Summit Ave. This photo taken in 1910 looks west on an unpaved Cedar Street. The photographer was standing across from todays 225 Cedar Street which then was the home of Arthur Wynne who created the crossword puzzle a few years later. In the distance the four houses west of Ridge Road and south of Cedar Street are on Summit Avenue. Farther west just below the crest of Second Mountain and somewhat faint is the Overbrook complex.
