The #hungryexplorer crew decided to pay a visit to The Gallery, TTDI, a classy new addition to the treasure trove of eateries in TTDI. Serving Western fare with an Italian slant in stylish interiors, we dived straight in with their crostini (RM15). Crispy toasted bread topped with sweet pumpkin mash, cherry tomatoes, and bell pepper tuna, it was the perfect start to a delicious meal. For mains, we absolutely loved their roasted spring chicken (RM38) for its orange-infused thyme jus, aromatic with citrusy notes that hit all the right spots. We also had their farfalle alla ragu di manzo (RM28). A pasta served with stewed beef rump and olives, the slightly spicy dish was infused with meaty flavours cut through by the tang of tomatoes and olives. A very minor gripe was that the meat was a tad too tough. Finishing everything off was the indulgent baked Alaska (RM26), a coconut cake topped with mango sorbet. It was encased in a delicate meringue and served with a fragrant pandan paste. A delightful mix of textures and flavours, it was nothing short of awesome.
