The incident happened with me today while I was travelling by metro from Rajiv Chowk Station towards Gurgaon. There was a guy who was constantly staring at the girls and was making vulgar gestures. for quite some time I was looking at him to distract him from doing this. After some time he noticed and stopped for a moment to pull out an apple from his bag and started eating. After he finished, he threw the remaining part of the apple at a corner in the train. That was it I couldnt control myself and I asked him to pick up the trash but he completely refused and said pada rehne do kone me kuch nai hota. Listening this I almost lost my temper and said this is not a trash can, this is a public property and you cant throw your crap here. to this he told me to mind my business and in return I said I am. Things started getting hot between us but whatever i said to him, he didnt seem bothered at all and he didnt pick the trash up. Everyone else in the metro were just silent and nobody said a word to him, I was really shocked to see that. Then, all of a sudden to everyones amazement, a guy who was standing nearby, picked up the trash and de-boarded the train as it stopped at a station. Everyone was looking at each others faces. and the guy who threw the trash wasnt even bothered. He gave me a tough look and started gazing at the girls again. I couldnt get a chance to meet the gentleman who picked up the trash but I managed to click a photograph of the guy who was the face of shame. After this incident one thing is sure as far as people like this guy are there, it will be hard to make a #SwachhBharat. But with people like the gentleman there is always a hope. Thank You.
