The international commissions of accreditation visited Tallinn University and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Mainor. Based on the evaluation commissions reports, the EKKA Quality Assessment Council decided on 9 June to accredit both, Tallinn University and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Mainor for seven years. Both higher education schools were given the EKKA quality mark. The commissions consisted of higher education school leaders, consultants and specialists from Great Britain, Spain, United States of America, Finland, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Lithuania and Estonia. The commission credited the high level of internationalisation in Tallinn Universitys case, mainly the large proportion of foreign lecturers. According to the commissions evaluation, several purviews in the University are high-level in international comparison - for example, the Asian cultural studies and film specialities, and the innovation of education.
