The journey for you, James, has been wrought with the pain of experiencing first hand the suffering of those dark depairing places Jono was falling into more and more frequently and you took on that pain yourself -it was not possible - as his Dad and closest friend to the very end....to not take that on...with the additional pain of helplessness....but no ...you were not helpless...you had created along with Rosey an unbelievable cocoon of love for Jono to live out the final years of his life in the best way you could provide...and that you did with excellence...a beautiful home...a loving atmosphere with his family....the daily hot meals which were a part of his pleasure...his fuzzy new kitty cats, coffee and smokes and his extended world of Facebook and gaming which helped both him and us, his friends to connect...... until just a short while back his cycling, daily gym visits....... As the darkness surrounded I do believe Jono was at peace through all the conversations and acceptance that you showed him, that that love was a solid unconditional thing that even in his personal final decisions... he know your love and support would NEVER be taken from him. That is an amazing gift you gave him and undoubtably a badge of honour you will wear from this day into the Heavenlies. .... love and admiration for a fight well fought.
