The justices of the supreme court should not be elected, because when the justices are elected there is a big chance that the justice in the Philippines will not be fair because when it comes to election, the candidates needed a sponsors to be able to avail their campaign, and if they won, there is chance that when their sponsors have a legal disputes, their decision will be affected. Also if the justices is elected, all their decisions will be base on the citizens, not base on the law itself.
