The kids told me about some fresh kid who made a mocking comment about Gods existence. And I said, Do you kids understand Trigonometry or Nuclear Physics? They said, No. And I replied, Does that mean they dont exist? Just because a person doesnt understand something or is not familiar with it does not mean it does not exist. The conversation continued, but Ill leave it at that. Point being? I hear about, or read about, witness, or know of so many who suffer, having nothing to do with their choices. Especially painful is when the good, hard-working, loving and generous who suffer. And also when I brush my teeth I see a 41-year-old staring back at me not a 21-year-old. Actuarially speaking, over half my life is gone/done/over. And I have already had 41 years more of life than countless others. What I just stated reminds me that life is fragile and precious. Life is short. Very short; even 100 years is very short. I know immortality. Immortality is embracing truth, not my vain-glory. I cannot not think about the aforementioned when I take these pictures. I have told you before, I like Facebook because it is something that my children will be able to examine something should happen to me sooner rather than later, as it has for countless others. Every day is a blessing. In secular terminology, every day is a bonus!!! What we do in life . . . echoes in eternity.
