The last 12 months have been the most intense time of my life. I started, kept, and excelled at my first 9-5 job, taken myself almost completely out of old credit card debt, bought a car, lost 25 pounds, started 3 awesome bands, did stand-up comedy for the first time, picked up the guitar and started taking lessons, wrote and produced an awesome TV commercial and jingle, got asked to be best man at my best friend’s wedding, helped plan and execute a bomb ass 10 year reunion, made a slew of new friends from all walks of life, and read the most life changing book that’s ever been presented to me. I also lost one of the most important people in my life, my grandfather, watched my best friend almost die in motorcycle accident, watched a great friend be put behind bars for the rest of his life, and acted with good intentions, only to create misunderstandings and fear which led to the end of some of my most cherished friendships. I’ve learned more about money, love, friendship, trust, people, business, professionalism, creativity, religion, hope, fear, music, art, patience, thought, and forgiveness than I really wanted to. My thirst for knowledge and understanding is never ending, but that has come at the expense things that I love. There have been times in my life when I am happy treading water, and times when I truly question my purpose on Earth. I know I love to make people smile, and I hope the things I create today can put a smile on someone’s face long after I’m gone. I’m definitely a weird dude, but it’s all good. Heavy Metal rules.
