The last 5 hours were tense. We woke up to the howling wind and pouring rain. The dogs were barking because the rabbit was still in his cage by the terrace and they wanted us to bring the cage in. The wind got so strong the massive mango tree beside my window was practically uprooted and had it not been for the branches caught up with the roof, would have landed on a car. Pieces of roofing landed by the side who knows were it came from. The howling lasted for 4 hours. And all through this we were scampering around and made time for pancakes. Enzo on the other hand, slept through the whole thing and when it all died down woke up because of the eerie silence. Bloody freak.
