The latest news from Tasmania...according to my favorite missionary: Hello my friends and family! Happy late Thanksgiving!! (: I hope it was delicious for all of you! Mine was delicious too! Just not as HUGE as normal! thats probably a good thing considering Im already getting fatter haha (: anyways this past week has been nothing but GREAT! Monday we went to ZOODOO with Donna a member of the ward who is SOO amazing! She does so much for us! Always feeds us, takes us cool places and keeps my mom updated on everything in the Glen Huon area (: I fed kangaroos, deer, emus, ostriches. I saw Tasmanian devils...they are soo ugly they are cute! haha. They make terrible noises and they are crazy! I saw a BIG norbert (bearded dragon) at ZooDoo. That was really cool, plus snakes, a giant lizard thing and lots of other animals! The Kangaroos were ON TOP of me. No joke. they were as tall as me and I was covered in mud by the time we left because they wouldnt get off me! haha it was SO much fun and I am so grateful for Donna for taking us! The rest of the week has been great! Weve met with more of our investigators, E is doing good. J, S, D, a young girl L, J -is moving soon sadly but we dont know when yet. Weve helped re-activate a Philippino lady L, who has been away from the church for over 8 years! She loves coming to church and loves having us around her house! She made a giant lunch for me and sister maughan on wednesday and it was delicious! she even gave us a bunch of leftovers so our fridge was FULL! Im not starving...thats for sure! (: The ward members are the best! We get dinner EVERY night. and most of the time we get someone texting us and making sure we have dinner! Keep the missionaries in your mind when you are cooking (: text and ask if they have an appointment then invite them over! AND be even better than that and suggest someone they should go visit! Missionary work doesnt get far without the members help! Thanksgiving we went to E and Is house! I is American so we had a little thanksgiving feast! It was very delicious!! But not American thats for sure! haha (: Then the next day we got to go over to Eleanors again and help their family set up their christmas tree!! Tis the Season!! (: Yay!! I love christmas! everyone go look up He is the Gift its a new video the church released. its soo good. its a reminder of what christmas is all about. The real FIRST gift of christmas was from our Heavenly Father. He gave us his son so that we could go back and live with him! Im so grateful for my savior, and for the sacrifices he made for me, for all of us. Remember him this season. Think of something you can give to him this Christmas. I LOVE being a missionary.
