The lineup for the only stateside ICSA event in 2013 has been confirmed! September 13-15 in Frederick Maryland (35 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC). Friday Night: Wade Schalles , 2x NCAA champion, 15 time All-American in judo, sambo, collegiate, freestyle, and Greco-Roman Wrestling. The topic will be dominating from the top position and using the underhook and Russian tie up. Saturday: ICSA founder Kevin Secours from 10-4pm (with break). the topic will be Urban Survival. Kevin has been given carte blanche for the entire seminar, and will present principles and technique most relevant to our Systema. Saturday evening: ICSA dinner with guest lecturer Lt. Col. Pete Jensen, PhD, US Army. Pete will be speaking on his research at the University of Tennessee. He was also a major contributor to the research for the ICSA manual, and is currently stationed at West Point. Dinner will be an added cost, TBD. Sunday:Day 2 of the Urban Survival program. It will be from 10-3 with no breaks. We are limiting this event to the first 36 applicants. $175 for an intense and information filled weekend. All reservations must be confirmed by July 15.
