#The longest night of my life and not for a minute did we feel like we were in this alone! Jimmy is in very critical condition . Yesterday after a left heart catheter procedure Jim deteriorated very quickly . CPR and extreme life saving measures were taken over 12 times last night as Jimmys heart kept stopping .The surgical team was called at 2am . Attempts were made to stabilize Jimmy which failed . At 0505am even though Jim was still unstable , Dr Ruel and his team inserted the LVAD as there were no other options . Jimmy is still in surgery at this time . Dr Ruel had finished his procedure and is cautiously optimistic . I felt that you deserved to hear this news as youve been and continue to be by our sides through this journey . I love all of you ❤️ Marah #2 Jimmy is finally out of surgery ! He is in critical status but as always remarkable my fella . Jims kidneys failed and that he had flat lined so many times the surgery did take longer than predicted . Initially we were told jim would need dialysis . As Jim came out of surgery his kidneys DID start to function and my BLUE fella is now PINK . Prayers worked ! 2 of the surgeons we talked to in ICU said that Jims condition is due in large part to knowing he is so loved and supported . Prior to the initial surgery last night Jim and Ellis took a few moments to look at your posts on the Jims heart page . There is NO doubt in my mind that each and every one of you have played a part in Jims spirits , please keep believing ! We DO ❤️
