The lyrics to a song is only as powerful as your understanding of the words. It WILL move you when your heart relates to what is being said & has the potential to change your mindset, emotions and beliefs. In it, you could even find a resolution to your circumstance. A word sung is more powerful than a word spoken. (This is true about all music). So if u are going through a tough situation, and tune into mainstrean radio, you are most probably throwing your emtions into a whirlwind of confusion. Playing some worship instead, could strengthen your heart and lift your spirit, give you hope and shift your train of thought from curse to blessing, from failure to success, from pain to joy, from dissatisfaction to contention, from "our strength" to GRACE.
