The mailer looks like its an official document, but its not. The presentation is designed to scare voters with ELECTION VIOLATION NOTICE in all caps written across the envelope. The letter warns voters that You are acting on fraudulent information. The mailer is clearly voter imitation and suppression tactics. The Grimes campaign has responded by going to court to force McConnell to stop the voter intimidation. McConnells voter suppression efforts have caused the election board in Easter Kentucky TO ISSUE AN ALERT telling voters not to worry if they receive the campaign mailer, that it means nothing, and they should go to their polling places and vote. This reminds me of the old Southern Strategy that Jesse Helms used time and time again just days before elections were to take place here in North Carolina.
