Most Americans. 414 Emergency Service workers died in the line of duty, including 341 Firefighters, 37 Port Authority Police Officers, 23 New York City Police Officers, 8 Emergency Medical Technicians, and 3 New York State Court Officers. Countless American Troops have given their lives in the war on terror that started on this day 13 years ago. Ive stood on Ground Zero. Ive seen the devastation close-up. Ive seen the fires that burned in the months after that day. The single most sobering moment of my life was touching the dust that was everywhere in lower Manhattan. Although I havent been to the Pentagon, the sight of the devastation there makes my blood boil. Its not over people. Were going to be attacked again, and again. For those of you who are going to cry conspiracy, today is not the day to test me with that nonsense, so keep it to yourselves. Today is a day that Americans should all remember. So remember.
