The message at the end of the video is not exactly true: we should not necessarily believe in OURSELVES.... because of our inherent wickedness... but we should put our Faith and Trust and Belief in Jesus Christ, the inerrant Son of God, the fleshly embodiment of our God, who gave us the opportunity to fellowship with Him again, through Jesus virgin birth, sacrificial death, and Miraculous resurrection three days later. Because of Him, we can believe in Him to empower US when we feel that there is no more left to lose. When WE put our FAITH [a) allegiance to duty or a person : loyalty; b) fidelity to ones promises or sincerity of intentions; c) belief and trust in and loyalty to God; d) firm belief in something for which there is no proof or complete trust] in Jesus Christ, and give HIM the recognition that it was THROUGH HIM ONLY, will we see true blessings. See without Christ, everything is in our own power... God allows things to happen to bring a purpose to Him... sometimes its good (in our eyes), other times its melancholy and seems to have no merit or purpose (in our eyes)... the reason is because youre not walking or fellowshiping with God. So there really is NO purpose. Youre walking along doing it all in the power and strength of yourself. Imagine what your life would be like walking and fellowshipping with God... how much POWER can be had through the Almighty? Infinite! Dont think that God does not allow instances or trials in our lives .... on the contrary; He has to allow trials in our lives. Without them, how can we obtain the ultimate feeling of contentment when worshiping our Lord and Savior if we do not feel unworthy of the blessing and care that He so richly provides? He places these burdens and trials in our lives to remind us, that WE ARE NOTHING without HIM! The Children of Israel couldnt cross the Red Sea without God; He allowed Moses to part the Sea... Moses didnt do it on his own accord! Noah didnt build an Ark to keep the last remaining people safe from the floods; or the animals... God Provided the Wood, the directions, and INSTRUCTED Noah to build it. God tells us that we have a purpose, through His Word, and we are given the choice to Obey or Not. This man, I pray, has heard the Gospel, and has given his life to Christ, so his message and story can reach even more souls... but if he has NOT, then God will use it to bring those closer to Him. Everything has a purpose... and we do too. If you feel like you have no purpose, or your Trials are too big.... Remember: Our God burned a bush, but didnt consume it; Our God gave up His ONLY son, to come to earth, live to show us a perfect life, and lived for 32 years to sacrifice HIS life for an atonement or cleansing of our Sins... that if we believe up on HIM, and confess our sins and faith upon Him, that we TOO shall have eternal life. Trust HIM with your problems.. Trust HIM with your trials..... Trust HIM with your blessings.
