The military prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan issued an official warning to Sergey Yezhkov, the chief editor of the Uzmetronom independent website, on the impermissibility to violate laws. According to the warning, the website must no longer continue publishing information on the 23 July incident on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border “without obtaining reliable information on the event from competent state bodies.” Mr. Yezhkov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
