The more I read about Sterling withdrawing from the England game the more I feel he was right to do so. If the player doesnt feel right then he should be listened to, I dont for one minute think he didnt want to take part and I am sure he is gutted he couldnt. All this crap about not needing recovery time, hes young etc. what a load shit people talk! Hes 19, his body wont be developed properly yet. Look what we did to players like Michael Owen, Aaron Lennon, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott we take any young talent we have and run them in to the ground until they just break down with injury again and again. Hodgson needs to listen to the experts in the game, the guys who have worked in Italy, Germany, Spain and h Holland where player conditioning is paramount!
