The more you get into the things of God, the more chances you are going to have to get into unforgiveness. When the temptation not to forgive is presented to some, they would rather in their flesh go with the unforgiveness. They will go through all kinds of foolishness, because they do not understand what the Bible says about the sufferings of Christ. Philippians 3:10 "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death." Maintaining an excellent spirit can be hard on the flesh. Like we established earlier, if someone wrongs you, your flesh does not want to forgive. Remember, forgiveness and walking in the God-kind of love and the God-kind of faith are of the heart; and are not of the flesh. Granted, there are many folks who have been horribly mistreated by others, even by loved ones. This is not making light of that. Maybe you were misused as a child by a relative. May your husband beat you and left you and the kids "holding the bag" to make it on your own. But whatever it is that happened to you, you need to forgive those that wronged you. You can do it. The Bible says you can. You can do it today, right now, not having to wait until the altar call at come church. You can simply decide to do it, and the Greater One who lives on the inside of you will help you. Then when you forgive, you can get back in the faith fight and move those mountains and obstacles that have been standing in your way. You can get some things changed that need to be changed. With a spirit of love and forgiveness, nobody can ride piggy-back on your spirit. In other words, no one, including the enemy of your soul, the devil, can bind you up anymore and stop you from receiving whatever it is you need or want from God. You can operate in complete freedom.
