The new History Exhibit at Kanawauke. Thanks to a generous grant from the Palisades Parks Conservancy there is a new multimedia history exhibit. The exhibit includes still photographs, digital picture frames a television that can show movies including those on the history of Nature Education in Harriman State Park, Uncle Bennie, Perkins, Harrimans, group camps and museum tours. The television is equipped with two sets of ear phones to listen and not disturb other museum guests. In addition to the exhibit at Kanawauke there are digital picture frames at each of the other museum locations. Special thanks to Brian Malone, Ryan McCormick and Steve Mann for help with installation, prep help from Carl and Deidre Twin Lakes Co-Directors, funding help from Susan Smith, photos from park archives, Robert Wallace, and Sue Scher.
