The news youve all been waiting for! Honey has been through so much before she was rescued by us and then through a lot more with all her surgeries and had a difficult time trusting people. She has built a trusting relationship with Dr Carlisle and his wife Becky. She is slowly learning to accept others as well. So ....Drum Roll Please...... the OFFICIAL ADOPTION has taken place! Here is a little video of Dad and Honey taking a short walk. Today is almost 3 weeks postop with her left knee reconstruction and she is doing great! So yes......it is true Dr C. HAS OFFICIALLY ADOPTED HONEY! We all knew it already though, didnt we? This is truly a very Happy Ending for this little girl. She finally knows what love is and will be safe for the rest of her life!
