The next course is Malai Kafta A- Coconut flavored cheese ball with a slight spice. Filling seemed to have a crispy piece in it, not sure if it was ground up almonds, but we all liked the consistency. The presentation looked odd, but like I said we all enjoyed it. B-Less flavorful as A, chalkier and heavier consistency, cottage cheese was visible, and Jean states that the cheese balls were not as dense/compact. The majority of the foodies tasted some almonds and raisins. C-The foodies all agreed that there was definitely something odd about this Kafta. The cheese was brown inside, almost looking like a meatball. The sauce was sweet and seemed to have a tomato based sauce, one compared to a falafel. D-A bright yellow sauce with peas and carrots noticeably floating around. The team agrees that the sauce was flavorful, with a nice blend of flavors with a mild coconut taste.
