The next time someone trys to tell you that GMOs are the same as real food and that GMOs are the same as hybrids, remember...hybrids occur in nature naturally and have for eons but GMOs can ONLY happen in a laboratory by scientists forcing the genetic makeup of one species into the genetic makeup of an UNRELATED species. Thats why genetically engineered food can be patented; real food however, can not.
