The outstanding individual performance of the season allied with a solid team performance saw the 1st team to their 3rd straight win and 3rd successive home game topping 200. Richard Atkinson 24, Phil Swann 13 and Luke Woodhouse with a quickfire 46 gave a good platform for Adam Rhodes and Kev Bamforth to attack the bowling adding 82 in under 9 overs. Adam then took 22 off the final over to reach a maiden century, his unbeaten 107 containing 10 fours and 6 sixes as Higham totalled 252/5. Bradley and Colne Bridge made a commendable effort to reach their target but fell 73 runs short, Adam again at the forefront with 5/45 from his 12 over stint, Ged Brown 2/79 and Garreth Taylor 3/33 also bowled well and were backed up by some excellent catching Kev and Luke pouching 2 each and, again, Adam with an excellent diving catch.
