The penultimate results of the great CaLUK ingredient swap. Everyone who came got an ingredient that they had to use in a dish. #CaLUK Priyanka got a bottle of Rose Harissa paste and she made Orzo pasta with Harissa, cherry tomatoes & dill. Heres her description: So finally I tried it, Harissa paste was very new to me though Moroccon food is not 😊. Got to know about this in the ingredient swap in Cal UK meet. Thanks Manish for introducing it. Harissa has an amazing flavour, its spicy, mainly consist of roasted red peppers, serrano peppers and other hot chili peppers with garlic paste, coriander seeds, or caraway all preserved in olive oil. I had in my mind to create some fusion, so just tried my hands on Italian+moroccan and Viola !!!!!. A yummy Orzo Harissan pasta with tangy cherry tomatoes and lots of dried Dill. Its a must try ingredient, I loved it n sure you all will too 😊 All thanks to Nisha for seeding the idea about ingredient swap, a wonderful idea to get introduced with new flavours, you deserve a huge round of applause 😊
