The people who take the time to come on this group and participate - TopicsExpress

The people who take the time to come on this group and participate in the many discussions are welcome to do so and a command of the English language is not a compulsory requirement. As long as we can understand the context of the comment we should all be fine. This group was created so that Yes voters and those who now wish they were Yes voters can discuss issues surrounding the referendum and our continuing quest for Scottish Independence without the added hassle of No voters having a go at them. The hallmark of the Yes Campaign was its tolerance of opposing or differing views unlike the No Campaign who immediately attacked then blocked anyone who disagreed. This is not a group for the No voters or for the No Campaign to advance its arguments. They won the referendum by fair means or by foul and I have no desire to welcome any of them on this group. It is therefor reasonable to expect that those who do come on this group all have the same ultimate goal on how we achieve independence for Scotland. The only difference of opinion should, in my opinion, be how we go about achieving that goal and that is where the debate and the discussion comes in. To see fellow Yes voters arguing amongst themselves over trivia such as grammar or spelling is sad and missing the point. Please be a tad more tolerant of the misgivings of other Yes voters on this group and try to stay focused on why we are all still taking the time and the effort to stay involved and in touch.
