The phenomena of entropy seems to extend far beyond chemical and physical laws. The tendency for like-like interactions to occur for the sake of stability have been recently thought to constitute the foundation of Darwinian evolutionary principles, after first fostering the formation of complex macromolecules and their eventual product of living organisms. This affinity for similarity seen at the most fundamental levels of nature are not confined to these elementary stages of chemical and biological phenomena, but can be seen in our day to day social interactions. Who do you surround yourself with? What ideas and values do you hold, and how do they relate to the company you choose to hold? What is the product of the exchange of ideas and views you foster with those around you? We are a product of the dissipation and adsorption of intellectual ideas of those around us.
