The poorer the magician, the prettier the assistant must be. Distraction is the name of the game, and Trayvon Martin is that distraction. We ignore thousands of young black youth killed by other black youth, cities so failed that neighborhoods are abandoned and plowed under, unemployment for teens and minorities at unsustainable highs, borders which are a joke, fuel prices eating into family budgets, a medical system in shambles, failure after failure in foreign policy, revelation of massive spying on our every act, an IRS which has become a political tool, and an administration which lies to us at every turn. Now the fools in the street are being played by cynical “civil rights leaders”. Does anyone think that their actions further the interests of American minorities, or that wall to wall TV coverage of this stupidity helps anyone?
