The predicament that moderate conservatives (and by virtue the entire nation) face is that of endangerment. Radicals like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee are slated to become the norm. Since in office, these dangerous and reckless individuals have been raising money to fund primaries to ensures that more of their ilk are in the Senate. Including Chris McDaniel, who is challenging Sen. Thad Cochran and backed by the Senate Conservatives Fund and the Club for Growth. McDaniel believes Lincoln was a Marxist and advocates that the South should secede again. Given the money that is funding his primary race, and the state in which he is running in, he will win the seat. A damn shame. The GOP, as far as being functional party, is obsolete.
