The presence of a crop of hapless persons who find comfort in mystifying Khama and portraying him as a heavily untouchable man is a disease. Such ilk that would spit the bitterest salvo at any differing opinion treat divergence with contempt regarding Khamas incumbency is sickening. This is a democratic country, not some uncivilized 16th century state where persons whose association with power was nothing more than the accident of birth. I have serious worries with majority of decisions he has taken that have dealt a major blow to myself and my people, their economy and the welfare of their loved ones. Fact. I have always held that keeping quiet about it is not only cowardice but but equates to a serious abdication of responsibility as a conscious citizen. I have come under question for vilifying him in what I basically took for free expression of opinion regarding someone at the helm of political power who owes it to us to provide responses when we question. We know he does what he does presumably in our interests. At least on paper! Most decisions taken by this man, whether good or bad and regardless of our opinion about them, have direct implications on our lives. He is not God, why should we fear questioning him on his conduct of legitimately attained political power, where to such we remain supreme custodians!? This baffles me!
