The present political crisis in Delhi remains a reminder to those who argued that the Office of Governor is colonial dispensation to unleash centralisation and ought to wither away. The crisis it seems in part can be attributed more to the mistrust and lack of confidence that this Office has now come to enjoy than the real constitutional problem. It largely remains symptomatic of deeper moral crisis facing the parliamentary democracy in India, the absolute mistrust between the government and opposition premised upon the logic , my cow holier than thou.
