The prime reason Lokmanya Bal Gangandhar Tilak stared Ganesh Ustav was to bring people together and create a movement against British Rule. Today, as we celebrate Ganesh Ustav, we do not have British to fight with but the challenges are equally dangerous unless we fight them together 1. The most important is that of blind faith. 2. We are becoming more irrational in our thinking 3. We are becoming more insensitive to the matters of concerns - Corruption, misrule, unethical business practices. 4. We talk but do not practice. 5. We have short memory, we have developed the habit of forgetting things. Among these and many more the most important is Blind faith. Dr. Narendra Dabolkar for all his life tried make us realize the same. We have not only forgotten that but we have also forgotten that he was murdered and the killers are still free.
