The problem is that they Believe that Istanbul scholars book the greek Racho Donefs book Assyrians post-Nineveh, and other advocats of assyrianism are Finish Simo Parpola, Willam Warda, Fred Aprim both nestorians, and Enver Centrez, and others the problem with such a books is the methodology is so lame its primary focus is the thread of the continous survival and usage of the term Assuria, Assyria, Atur and othur its ridicoulous, thats like saying The modern Palestinians who are Arabs today are the descendants of one of the sea-peoples who werent indegenous to that land, namely the Peleset whom we know as Philistines in the OT Bible sure the etymology of Palestina or Palestine that the Romans used much later comes from their name but modern Palestinian nationalists are Arabs occupying a land called Palestina, as well as Iudea etc in Roman times but the majority were Jews back then not Arabs. So even though the term Athur, Atur, and assyria survived doesnt mean that everyone in that area is and Assyrian in the ethnic sense of the Word.
