The problem is that word and its applied context, like so many of the other artificial constructs construed for western civilizations benefit, Leadership historically was never about empowering, it was about controlling and herding the masses for no other purpose than to enslave and control. What they need is not a leader, what they need is a teacher and not in the perverse sense of the word; A real teacher, which is rare.
