The problem with being in favor of voluntary arrangements is that the coercive arrangements made by governments destroy the voluntary arrangements. So if youre in favor of a voluntary society, you are necessarily opposed to almost everything a government does. Since people favor the seen over the unseen, they think that we are opposed to social provision of health care merely because we are opposed to government provision of health care.
