The progressive political class grows richer and more powerful by polarizing Americans. To publicly acknowledge the real problems and their root causes... to actually make "progress" toward solving these problems necessarily brings Americans together. Think about all of the hot topics and why they are so popular amongst the politicians. Not because they have the potential to make America great. Not because they bring Americans together. Instead, they make the political class great. Next time you hear anyone (politicians especially) going off on a rant about how "somebody ought to do something," ask yourself: "Will this bring people together or split them apart?"
