The prospect of Javier Hernandez...is the only thing that keeps me going after the plundering of last seasons Saints team. Highest ever finish in Premiership...and we sold those players who were game changers; team motivators and integral talismans. Management has shown bad judgement here...they didnt just sell a few star players - they sold a formula. A vital one at that. It takes an enormous amount of effort and playing time for a team to gel; find its feet; work like a finally tuned machine. We had that for the first time IN YEARS last season (for the most part at least)...but then we let the wolves in and we are undone again. Boardroom hubris wont allow us to see the real disarray in the new squad and the flaws in their new team building philosophy. Their strategy (Saints Management) for this new Premiership campaign could be pure and simply disastrous, and undo all the previous good work that has been achieved over the last few seasons. Lets hope I am wrong...but if Saints think Im going to be convinced that they have a stronger squad this season than last year - then they need to be sectioned.
