The question has been asked, Should we believe the whole Bible or just parts? Yes, we should believe the whole Bible but we need tp believe the Bible that is searched for truth and not one that has been searched to prove the theology of Men. Often times this question is asked to open the door for some Legalistic Doctrine decided before hand by the ones asking the questions. All scripture must be checked by other Scripture from the front to the back. One Example of this is the Sabbath. Once all we had was the promise of a true Sabbath that was to come. Until it arrived the Jews kept days as established until the true Sabbath could come and provide an eternal Sabbath that had no end, One that we would Rest in Forever. That Sabbath has arrived. Jesus is our Sabbath now and it is not a day but a Rest found in Him forever. The Jewish Sabbath was merely a Shadow of that Rest that has now been offered us. Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. Heb 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. Heb 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
