The rear cross-member and floor of my Imp Sport are rotten and beyond economical repair. Its arse is basically in tatters. So Ive decided to have it converted to electric power with 32kWh lithium-ion batteries and 2x 60hp motors driving the rear wheels. That equates to 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. It will need brakes. It will have a welded strengthened box section behind the front seats to hold the 99 battery packs on the new floor . No more petrol, donuts, gear changes, clutch, throttle cables, exhausts or water pumps, head gaskets, wills rings and unfortunately . . silence.
