The rules for CAGIT are changing slightly. I have been in discussion with the RAAus GM & John Brandon on the matter with the changes being: The new location must be a minimum distance of 100nm from the prior location, except for Powered Parachute journeys. There is now a minimum AIR TIME for the complete trip of 5 hours There are provisions for exceptions to the distance / time for Powered Parachute journeys. There are also exceptions for special occasions / events in which the trophy is the main focus. Where there is more than one party notifying the current holder of an intention to retrieve the trophy, all parties involved should decide who will make the journey, bearing in mind the intent of the CAGIT journeys, i.e. to promote ultralight adventure aviation to stretch personal horizons to establish acquaintance with more distant fellow RA-Aus members to experience longer distance navigation and operations to and from varied private airstrips (but not restricted to).
