The same year the Rock was in Samoa to do his High Chief title was the year we also took our Dad to Samoa to receive his High Chief title in 2004, straight from the LAST King of Samoa himself!!! Malietoa Tanumafili ll. The picture on my cover photo is our family with his Highness! Usually he always wears his sun glasses, but that day, he took them off and said to us, come, stand behind me! The next day, he layed his hands on my DADs head, and bestowed upon him the High Chief Title of Faamausili our Grandmothers family name!! Awesome experience with our DAD that we will never ever forget or regret! The Rock holds the high chief name of Seiuli which is another family name on my Dads side. In this video, his mom talks about the High Chiefs that sits at the different poles. That is also our last name, Falefitu, (pou e fitu o le fale o Malietoa, seven poles in the Kings house.) This is an awesome video of our beautiful culture n heritage!! I know many of you hv seen it, but its nice to see it again be reminded of our beautiful island n cultures!♥toi
