The seventh annual Money Smart Week Fox Cities Financial Makeover Challenge will be beginning soon...are you up for the Challenge!? Designed to help local families improve their financial situation, participants meet one-on-one with financial coaches from FISC to develop specific goals and strategies to increase savings, reduce debt and reduce expenses over a four-month period. The family that comes the closest to their goals receives a cash prize of $3,000. The second place family receives $1,500 and the two runners-up each receive $625. People have until November 14, 2014 to apply to participate in the Challenge. The 2014-2015 Challenge begins on December 15, 2014 and continues until April 15, 2015.
