The single most poignant aspect of my life has been to have been born to a mother, who not only was an inspiration to most throughout her life, but someone who was also blessed with an angelic voice that captured your soul and filled your heart with love. However she wasnt your normal musical star, she believed in the Sufi ways and lived a life filled with humility and love. The thing that I loved most about her was that she was never above it all.... she didnt hold her talent or fame over your head. ... as a matter of fact she shared it and that gave her the most joy, having loved to hear and see brilliant and new music or those who took old classical styles and reblended to match their unique style of music. Today I am still and humbly just her son, no expert in music however after a life of being by her side i believe that after hearing this beautiful song she would have said excellent choice. ... now put on another great song and go fetch me some tea. ... chashm madar. The name of the song is Baroon but its anything but rain.
